Punchestown going update

There going remains heavy at Punchestown following 5mm of rain overnight and a further 2.5mm this morning.

The first of eight races gets underway at 12.50pm with the Boylesports.com Tied Cottage Steeplechase (Grade 2) the feature event.

Meanwhile Fairyhouse had another 2.5mm of rain overnight ahead of their rescheduled fixture on Tuesday.

The Co. Meath track has seen nearly 100mm of rain in the past fortnight, with some rain everyday.

The inside track will be in use on Tuesday and, not surprisingly, the going is also heavy.
