Anglo Printers win HRI contract

Anglo Printers, the Drogheda, Co. Louth based printing company has won a tender to supply racecards to all HRI owned racecourses.

Padraic Kierans, Managing Director of Anglo Printers said “We have been providing racecards and race day print services to HRI Racecourses since 1983 and are delighted to have the opportunity to extend this service, and indeed our product offering. It is great to see public companies and semi-state organisations such as HRI recognising the value of indigenous Irish suppliers to the supply-chain.”

"We have introduced many advanced features to our new racecard layout following extensive market research, and have partnered with Healy Racing Photographers of Listowel to provide jockeys pictures on every horse in every race as standard, and also have links with irishracing.com who provide in-depth racing analysis with exclusive statistics and form commentary."

The printing business, which has grown to become one of the leading managed print services providers throughout Ireland, is owned and managed by the Kierans family, who are well known in racing circles, and have had some racing success themselves down the years with horses in training with John-Joe Walsh in Doneraile, Co. Cork. The company has also been involved in racecourse sponsorship for 30 years.

Anglo Printers also provides printing services to 17 Irish Racecourses as well as clients such as Leinster GAA, the National Ploughing Championships, Boylesports, Iarnrod Eireann, Irish publishing companies and 3rd level education facilities.
