Hadrian's Approach is the most significant absentee in the Jewson Novices' Chase as ante-post market leaders stood their ground.

Nicky Henderson's runner has finished second in his last two starts over three miles, showing smart form in the process, and a RSA Chase entry suggests he'll run over the same distance at the Festival.

Captain Conan, Aupcharlie and Dynaste remain potential runners, although the latter would seem destined for the RSA Chase too.

Tom George is represented by Module, while the likes of Arvika Ligeonniere and Fago have entries in this contest as well as the Racing Post Arkle Trophy.

Boston Bob has been scratched from the Arkle but still holds a Jewson entry, as do five-year-olds Unioniste and Argocat.

A total of 58 horses remain in the John Oaksey National Hunt Chase, but Rocky Creek is not one of them.

Paul Nicholls' horse won the Reynoldstown at Ascot to book a ticket to the Festival, but his destination is likely to be the RSA Chase now.

Mullins pair Boston Bob and Back In Focus both feature along with Kim Bailey's Harry Topper, who impressed at Exeter last time and has received gushing reports from his trainer.

David Pipe's Goulanes and Buddy Bolero remain possible runners along with Rival D'Estruval for northern trainer Pauline Robson.
