Johnny Murtagh is back in action at Dundalk tomorrow evening when he takes two mounts on the seven race card.

The Meath man broke his collarbone around the turn of the year. He had been skiing in Austria and at the time he marked down the start of the turf flat season, at the end of March, as a definite return date.

However the 42-year-old is back well before then. Amazingly the former champion has never broken any bone in his riding career.

Tomorrow night on the polytrack, Murtagh rides Dansili Dual (Andrew Tinkler/Tommy Carmody) in the 8.20 whilst in the concluding 9.20, he gets the leg-up on Eddie Lynam's Denny Crane. (EM)
