Don Cossack will try and get back to winning ways at Naas on Sunday, when he lines up in the Grade 2 padypower.com Novice Hurdle where Brian Hamilton's Moscow Mannon will be a rival. Don Cossack ran a fine race behind the Cheltenham bound Mozoltov in a Grade 2 the last day at Punchestown.

Gordon Elliott said of Don Cossack: “He is in great form and he has come out of Punchestown very well. We will keep him to two miles for the moment and he won’t mind the soft ground. It looks a good race and we’d be hopeful of a big run from our lad. He is in The Supreme and the Neptune at Cheltenham, but we’ll get Sunday out of the way first before we make any further plans for him.”

Meanwhile Brian Hamilton said: “Moscow Mannon will be using Sunday as a fact finding mission. He hasn’t had an ideal preparation but he definitely runs with Declan Lavery as the rider. He is entered in Cheltenham but that might come a bit too soon. We will see how Sunday goes first.”

Realt Dubh and Days Hotel look set to clash in the Grade 2 paddypower.com Chase. Henry De Bromhead commented “Days Hotel seems to be in great form and the plan is to run on Sunday. I haven’t looked beyond Naas with him and Sunday’s race is a Grade 2 in its own right. We are looking forward to it.”

De Bromhead also expects to be represented by Grand Jesture in the Paddy Power Mobile App Flat Race. De Bromhead also said: “We bought him at the sales at Punchestown after he won a bumper there at the festival. He is a lovely horse and we’ll get him going for us on Sunday. We’ll see how he gets on at the weekend, but he is in great form and we hope that he runs a nice race.”

Noel Meade has confirmed Realt Dubh as a definite starter in the paddypower.com Chase. Noel Meade commented: “He got a bit held up at Christmas time and I had thought about The Red Mills for him, but he is in very good form and two miles around Naas should be fine for him. He definitely runs on Sunday.”

Willie Mullins is likely to be well represented on Sunday and will finalise his plans in the morning.

Hector will host the third Jockey Olympics in aid of the Injured Jockeys Fund. The competition will incorporate three events, an egg and spoon race, a three-legged race and a relay race where Jockeys will replace the baton for a whip. Barry Geraghty, Davy Russell and Paul Carberry have been announced as the three team captains. The Jockey Olympics will take place in the parade ring in two sessions, after the 2nd race and after the 4th race. There will be a morning line from 1pm in the parade ring, to preview the days racing with Paddy Power and Robbie Irwin from RTE.
