Baily Green gained his first win since November 2012 when justifying 8/11 favouritism to win the Malton Chase at Killarney today for trainer Mouse Morris and jockey David Casey.

The son of King's Theatre, which completed a seven-timer of wins when last successful at Cork two years ago, put in his unusual exemplary round of jumping, to record an easy eight and a half lengths win over Lambro

Morris later stated “he (Baily Green) is able to run well in Group 1 races but isn't a Group 1 horse and that is the bottom line. He'll go out on grass now as he's been on the go a long time.”
