Balty Boys is being prepared for a trip to the Galway Festival next week.

The Brian Ellison-trained five-year-old , winner of a competitive Newmarket handicap on Saturday, looks set to take his chance in the Topaz Mile Handicap next Tuesday.

"I've had a quick chat with Brian and Balty Boys couldn't be in better form at home," said Kristian Strangeway, owner of Koo's Racing Club.

"He did us proud on Saturday and we're hopeful of another good run. He won on quick ground that day but he's fairly versatile and wouldn't mind the ground coming up on the slower side."
