Aidan O'Brien fields two outsiders in Darwin and War Command in the Qipco Sussex Stakes at Glorious Goodwood on Wednesday.

Darwin appears to have it all to do having been beaten in the Group Three Minstrel Stakes at the Curragh less than a fortnight ago, while War Command won the Dewhurst during an impressive juvenile campaign, but has been comfortably beaten in three starts so far this year.

Kingman and Toronado look a class apart in the five-runner line-up.

Since his reverse in the 2000 Guineas at Newmarket in May, the John Gosden-trained Kingman has claimed highly impressive successes in the Irish Guineas and the St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot .

Toronado, last year's Sussex Stakes hero, made a winning return to the track in the Queen Anne Stakes at the Royal meeting but, being a four-year-old, faces no easy task conceding 8lb to the Gosden runner.

The field is completed by another three-year-old in Charlie Appleby's Godolphin runner Outstrip.
