The impressive figures at Galway continued at the third session of the Festival, Thetote.com Galway Plate Day.
The Tote aggregate was 830,962.00 which compares favourably with the 676,025.00 figure achieved in 2013.
Meanwhile 'in the ring' the figure for this year was 1,497,455. Last year the bookmakers handled 1,013,700 Euros.
The attendance was 18,766 in comparison with 14,038 twelve months ago. This year's figure was around the 2012 attendance mark.
