The Willie McCreery trained No Fear gained a maiden win on his first start in handicap company, winning the Glebe House Stud Nursery Handicap at Bellewstown today under apprentice jockey Robbie Downey.

The winner came out on top in a tight battle, winning by a head from Sauanna Belle with the same distance back to Zebed

McCreery later stated “the (low) weight counted and we just got away with it and the run in a Nursery crowned him last week as it gave him an education.

“A bit of an ease helps and conditions suited and he was brought into the race lovely, stays well and ideally is a six furlong horse.

“He'll go for the Tattersalls Sales Race next and is owned by John Davies who had Hurryupharriet with me last year - I'm delighted for him as he's a great supporter.”
