A busy schedule is proving no barrier to It’s All An Act, and the Shark Hanlon-trained gelding recorded his third win this month in the Join The Punchestown Newsletter For Best Offers Handicap Hurdle.

The 5/2 second favourite made most of the running under Brian Hayes but was headed approaching the straight by The Fitz Lady

However the six-year-old son of Presenting dug deep to regain the initiative at the final flight, and kept on well on the run-in to deny Colla Pier by a length and a half.

The Fitz Lady could find no extra a further three lengths adrift in third.

Hanlon said, “He's a tough horse. That's his third run in seven days and he had a run over fences ten days before that.

“If the ground stays good he might go to Galway in ten days time but if not he'll go straight to the sales unfortunately. I would like to try and find someone to keep him at home.”
