A change of tactics proved just the trick as Bon Chic got off the mark at the fifth attempt in the www.punchestown.com For Raceday Offers Mares Flat Race.

David Mullins elected to make all on the solid 3/1 favourite and, having stretched his advantage early in the straight, kept on well to beat Brogine by three lengths. Ma Garrett was a further length adrift in third.

The Presenting mare is owned and trained by Jimmy Barcoe, and the Gowran handler said afterwards that she is entered in the sales.
