Patrick Prendergast is doubly represented with King Christophe and Splashtop as he bids to win thetote.com Eyrefield Stakes for a second time at Leopardstown on Sunday.

The County Kildare trainer took this nine-furlong Listed prize in 2012 with Sugar Boy, who went on to land the Group Three bet365 Classic Trial at Sandown the following April.

"Both of them will handle the ground. This nine furlongs is about as far as two-year-olds go in Ireland," said Prendergast.

"It's a race Sugar Boy won for me and both these horses will get the trip.

"They have a bit to find on ratings, but I think they will both run well and black type would be great for the filly (Splashtop).

"The filly ran a very nice to finish fifth in a Listed race at the Curragh but it turned out to be more than that. It was won by Together Forever and she went to Newmarket five days later and won a Group One (Dubai Fillies' Mile).

"I know she's only rated 89, but she also has close form with Jack Naylor (on their run at Fairyhouse in May) and she is not out of place.

"King Christophe is a nice staying horse. He goes on any ground and will be a better horse next year."

Ken Condon has been relieved rain has finally come this autumn to allow him to get Success Days back in the course.

Condon has had his plans frustrated by the dry weather and the lack of suitable races since the son of Jeremy opened his account at Gowran in August.

"We'd have loved to have run this horse before now but we seem to be lacking conditions races here in Ireland and this horse, being by Jeremy, wants easy ground," said the County Kildare trainer.

"We wanted to run him in the big nursery in Listowel, but the ground was too quick. With the ground changing in the last few weeks we've had our eye on this race.

"He's fit and well and will enjoy the ground. He has a rating of 95 and I suppose we'll know more about him after Sunday. Hopefully he'll put in a good performance.

"It will tell us where we are going next year. It looks like he's a staying type of horse."
