The Stewards enquired into the fall under Rule 225 of Lisclogher Lad , ridden by A. McCurtin. Evidence was heard from A. McCurtin who stated his mount stumbled independently and unseated him. The Turf Club vet at the request of the Stewards examined Lisclogher Lad's shoe's and found him adequately shod and post race normal, having considered the evidence and viewed a recording of the race, the Stewards took no futher action
C.D. Maxwell, rider of Suas Sios trained by Patrick Rooney, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount made a noise
