The Stewards requested a report from John Geoghegan, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Lady Boomerang, placed first, as compared with its most recent form. The trainer reported that his charge was drawn wide on her previous run in Sligo and ran very free early on. He felt his charge settled very well today and was allowed time to creep into the race and felt this had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form
Having considered the report, the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
