The Stewards received a report from the Turf Club Veterinary Officer, Mr. T. Smith, that he was unable to positively identify Jolyne, trained by J.P. Murtagh, from the markings provided on the passport and the microchip number. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Jolyne from this race and referred the matter to the Chief Executive of the Turf Club for further investigation.
