Having reviewed the start the Stewards were satisfied that Robot Boy (IRE) had refused to race and was deemed to be a runner.
Following the race, Rhona Pindar reported that Normal Equilibrium (GB), which finished unplaced, slipped when leaving the stalls.
Georgia Dobie reported that Robot Boy (IRE) anticipated the start, causing the gelding to hit its head on the starting stalls and subsequently refusing to race.
The Veterinary Officer further reported that Robot Boy (IRE) had a bleed to its left nostril as a likely result from hitting its head on the starting stalls.
