The Stewards interviewed Ms. Rebecca Flynn, authorised representative of Paul W. Flynn, trainer, following a report from the Irish Horse Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer, Mr. A. Tyrrell, that the markings of Lisclogher Flyer could not be positively identified from his passport. Evidence was heard from the authorised representative concerned who stated that there are longstanding errors on the passport which have not been rectified by the issuing body despite numerous requests to be amended. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards informed Ms. Flynn that Lisclogher Flyer would be withdrawn under the provisions of Rule 90 and that the matter would be referred to the CEO of the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board for further investigation

The Stewards requested a report from T.M. Walsh, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Kildorrery, placed first, as compared with its recent form. T.M. Walsh stated that his charge is a difficult type who normally runs too free which causes problems. On today's run he also ran very free but was dropped in earlier and this tactic aided his charge on this occassion. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
