A below average handicap but a second win for CONDARA. The gelding has had plenty of problems but has proven a credit to trainer Philip Rothwell. A stewards' enquiry into a minor incident on the run-in failed to alter the result and a similar handicap may prove within the winner's capability.

It is a measure of the race that a 40 rated Flat maiden finished second, with ANNIE'S DREAM finishing well for second. This was an improved effort but she will need to progress further to win.

MOVING ON won a similar race at Clonmel recently and stayed on without threatening for third while veteran GOLDEN DOMER ran another game race.

TAIPOLOGY looked to be travelling well entering the straight but found little when he came off the bridle.

Non-Runners were Dun Belle Magic (in season) and Ballymac Grey (coughing).
