The Turf Club Veterinary Officer examined Summaya, trained by D. K. Weld, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. P.J. Smullen, rider of Summaya, trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran very green. The Stewards informed E. McNamara, trainer that Intense Spirit, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.
