Hold The Pin proved a stylish winner here. Robbie Colgan moved closer on his mount turning for home and he still looked full of running as he cruised through to second after two out.

Killeaney looked a sitting duck in front but to be fair to the runner-up he made the winner work to get past him on the run-in.

He had hit the lead after the third last and had a handy lead before the second last.

The winner was supported in the ring (4/1 to 5/2) and eventually returned 3/1jf with Kasimali, who drifted slightly (5/2 to 3/1) after being backed in the morning (5/1 to 3/1).

Edward O'Grady's charge never landed a blow. He was settled in behind the leaders but could make no impression from the turn in and finished a moderate sixth.

Good Fella crept into things before the third last but could find no extra in fourth before the next flight.

Indifference Curve moved up to dispute three out but had no more to offer in third before the next while Bluesea Cracker was done with after the third last.

What's In Front weakened quickly when headed after three out while Cloudy Bays refused to take part.
