The Stewards requested a report from Adrian Maguire, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Davinia's Tip, placed first, as compared with it's recent form. The trainer reported that his charge had disappointed recently when running with a hood and felt today's improved performance could be attributed to the non use of a hood. Having considered the report the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
