The Stewards enquired into possible interference between the third last and the penultimate hurdle involving Medinah Gold, ridden by R.M. Power, placed first and Colms Dream, ridden by D. Meyler, placed second, where it appeared that Colms Dream ran short of room and had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judges' placings. The Stewards were of the opinion that the incident was caused by R.M. Power riding carelessly and consequently suspended him for 3 racedays.
