The Stewards fined Peter Fahey, trainer, ?350 for lodging a passport in respect of Presenting Beara, in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer's written assurance that the vaccinations were in order. The Stewards granted permission for the third last fence to be omitted in this race due to low-lying sun and the final fence to be omitted due to damage sustained in the previous race.
