ZAHARATH AL BUSTAN, narrowly denied when a warm order at the opening meeting here last August, bounced back to form to record a cosy success.

She cruised into the lead under two furlongs out and Johnny Fahy didn't need to get too serious with her to keep going inside the final furlong.

Maximo kept on gamely but proved no match for the winner and always looked set for the runner-up spot in the final furlong.

Rockazar was produced to throw down a challenge under two furlongs out but had no extra to offer over a furlong out and kept on at the same pace.

Fereeji helped cut out the running with Due Respect (5/1jf) and kept on after being headed although Due Respect soon cried enough.

Roy's Delight attracted support in the morning (11/2 to 3/1) but was easier to back on course (7/2 to 5/1jf). He delivered his challenge a furlong-and-a-half out but couldn't reach the leaders and stayed on one pace.
