The Stewards fined Philip Fenton, trainer, ?350 for lodging a passport in respect of Breffniboy (FR), in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Breffniboy (FR) in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90 (iv)
The Stewards enquired into the course taken by Miss K. Ferris, rider of Whenurgoodurgood, where it appeared the incorrect course was taken, continued on and finished the race. Evidence was heard from the rider who stated that her mount ducked out and went the wrong side of a direction post, she tried to pull him up but was unable to
Having considered the evidence, the Stewards disqualified Whenurgoodurgood, accepted Miss K. Ferris's explanation and took no further action
