The Stewards requested a report from John E. Kiely, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Line Out, placed first, as compared with its most recent run. J.E. Kiely reported that his charge dissappointed on his most recent run whch was a run that he possibly needed having been unraced for 1 year. His charge benefitted from this run and brought about an improvement in form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
