Permission was given for Nordican Bleue (FR) to be led to post.
An enquiry was held to consider the unruly behaviour of Nordican Bleue (FR) which had refused to line up and was withdrawn at 2:31pm.
Dr Richard Newland’s representative was interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
As the mare had also refused to line up at Market Rasen on 10 July 2020, Dr Newland was informed that any future similar behaviour from Nordican Bleue (FR) may result in the mare being reported to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority.
The winner, Another Theatre (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Perth on 24 September 2020, where the mare was pulled up.
The explanation from the representative of Philip Kirby that Another Theatre (IRE) had benefited from the return to hurdles was noted.
Another Theatre (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, Bryony Frost reported that Shantung (IRE), which started favourite and finished fourth, jumped deliberately in the early stages.
