Permission was given for The Drone (IRE) to wear a hood in the Parade Ring only.
Kielan Woods, the rider of the winner, The Drone (IRE), was suspended for 2 days for using his whip above the permitted level from approaching the second last hurdle.
On Veterinary advice, the winner, The Drone (IRE), did not enter the winners enclosure as the gelding was receiving preventative treatment due to its history of post-race heat stress.
Following the race, Jack Quinlan reported that Three Bullet Gate (IRE), which was pulled up, stopped quickly and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding failed to reveal any abnormalities.
