The Stewards interviewed Rachael Blackmore, rider of Personal Shopper (GB), placed second, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion Rachael Blackmore was in breach of Regulation 10 3 (f) in that she had used his whip with excessive frequency, and having taken her good record into account, they cautioned her accordingly.
An extended handicap steeplechase for five yrs old and upwards rated 0-102 Penalties - Winner of a steeplechase after calculation of the handicap to carry 6lb extra for each such steeplechase won. Riders - Confined to Professional under I.N.H.S. Rules who have not lost the right to claim the allowance under Rule 52 (iii).
