An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately two furlongs out, when Goodnight Girl (IRE), placed third, ridden by Rob Hornby, switched right-handed towards the rail intimidating Vegas Boy, unplaced, ridden by Nicola Currie, and taking it off its intended line, which in turn caused Victory Angel (IRE), unplaced, ridden by James Doyle to have to take a check.
Hornby was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he had switched right when not sufficiently clear.
Following the race Robert Winston reported that Tropics (USA), unplaced, stopped quickly.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Tropics (USA) failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Nicola Currie reported that Vegas Boy (IRE), unplaced, ran too freely and Elisha Whittington reported that Oeil De Tigre (FR), unplaced, ran too freely.
