Killarney 2nd Sapphire moves on to Listowel for a success
It was a good performance and Willie has found a good opportunity for her,. She was unlucky the last day as if she had helped David (Mullins) out a bit at the last she would have won but I'm the lucky one who got to reap the rewards today. She'll make a nice summer novice and is versatile trip-wise. She'll jump a fence in time but we'll win hurdles first.

O'Conaire to the rescue as Dunleavy ends long wait for winner
it's a long time since I was here so I don't know what to say! He ran very well in Sligo but may have gone a little bit too soon when we thought he might have won. He's well in so we'll look for another 0-95 now in a few weeks. He needs a few weeks between races as he loses weight and is a worrier but it's great to have it today and we're a long time waiting for this!. We have only four horses riding out and we're only very very small. We love the game but it's not really for small people any more and it's hard to stay going. We're absolutely looking for horses as we have plenty room for horses if we could get them.
Power Roche rides first racecourse winner
it was nice to win under his old partner (Brian Hayes) and he gets on very well with him. I was a bit disappointed in Ballinrobe and didn't know what to expect today. I might look at the Galway Hurdle and I'll see how he comes out of this.
Listowel compo for Draycott Place
Mark rang me for the ride and I gave him his first winner over hurdles and I remember recommending him to Dessie Hughes. For one reason or another he hadn't ridden for me for some time and he gave him a lovely ride,. He was very unlucky at Ballinrobe when I felt there should have been a stewards' enquiry and I felt he was very unlucky to be beaten. It was unlucky for Conor Brassil as he was on the wrong one with Kylecrue but he probably needed the run. He rode a lovely winner today though and is a good lad.
On The Fringe back to winning ways
We left the blinkers off today and claimed the 7lbs and tried everything because coming down, I realistically didn't think we had a chance with Minella For Value with the way he beat him in Killarney but he pulled up and I hope he is ok,. He (On The Fringe) travelled really sweet and Aine gave him a lovely ride and got the inner the whole way around. The first phone call I got coming down off the stands was from Ms (Nina) Carberry so we're all delighted. I was just so nervous coming as I wanted him to finish in one piece but we're not going to make any decision (regarding retirement) today. He has been my best horse with what he has done.
