He's a hardy horse and he's going to take another run of two before he comes together. You'd be very happy with him and he came forward lovely from the last day. He's still a baby but you'd be delighted with that. I don't know if there's much left for him now. He's not slow, he's going to have plenty of speed and he's going to be quick enough next year. You'd hope that he might get a mile. The other horses improved on their last runs which was good.

Moonstone appreciates drop in trip to open account

We thought she'd run very well in Gowran last week but she didn't stay,. It was a mile on heavy ground, she travelled really well but just walked the last furlong. We dropped her back to six today and she's won. We didn't think she'd win but we thought she'd run well. I'm delighted to have my first winner for Mrs Nagle. I'd say there's not much left for her. I'd say she's not one for the all-weather and that's why we rushed her back a little bit. I'd imagine we'll go on the hunt for black-type next year.

Chicago May toughs it out from the front

She's not easy, she's very difficult at home. Colin rides her most days and it's nothing more than he deserves for having the hardship of riding her at home. She's very strong and I actually told the owners that I thought she had cheap speed, that she was all show and didn't have a whole lot to back it up. You can't argue with the two runs she's had for me. She ran into a better horse on the day in Dundalk and did it the hard way there today. She won here over seven and I don't know how she got seven with the way she is training. The idea was to bounce her out, don't fight her, and she was all guts there today. We thought maybe the rain that got into the ground would even stop her. We were so negative it wasn't right and all credit to the filly. She's good, she's tough and she's hardy. She'll go home now and hopefully she'll strengthen up to be a black-type filly. If she's not a black-type filly here we have the option of sending her to America.

Cedars Of Lebanon puts them to the sword

She's lasted the year very well because she's so so lazy at home,. We don't work her in those visors, she only ever wears them on the track and she needs them because she's so laidback. She's been very easy to train because she just likes to eat and sleep and doesn't worry about too much. She's getting to be a good mare. She's improved all year, which not many two-year-olds do, and she's after winning three now. What I'd really like to do is to get her black-type and on today's performance I think she's well capable of it on the right day. I'm conscious of the fact that she's been very busy all year and maybe if we can get black-type as a three-year-old that will do. It's a marvellous race to win. That rain this morning probably helped us, as she gets the miles really well so it brought stamina into it.

Sarrocchi signs off in style

That was great and Seamus gave her great ride,. She had some very good runs. She had a break and this was her first run back. She's very genuine. She kept going and kept trying. It's great for a filly to win a stakes race like that. It's good to get it and I think she'll be off to stud now. We'll give some of the others a chance.

Mooney guides See Of Rome home in Naas

He's a lovely horse. When we got him we kind of ran him straight off the lorry in the Ladies' Derby as we were just trying to figure him out. Luke McAteer rode him the last day in Navan and said he was a nailed on certainty the next day over a mile-and-two. So credit to Luke, he called it well. Stephen gave him a peach today and he looked like he had plenty in hand. He'll be lovely horse next year for staying handicaps. He's not the type of horse we've been buying before, he's the dearest horse we bought in July, and we're just looking to have a decent handicapper over a longer distance. He'll tip away in Dundalk, he goes well on the surface up there, and I think the extended mile-and-two will be ideal for him there this winter. We'll crack on then next summer and hopefully go for a premier handicap at some stage.
