Born To Size jumps well to collect
He was frustrating and can be highly strung but jumped perfect. He jumped brilliant the whole way and he didn't go mad. When the other horse (Silent Account) took him on for the lead I was a bit concerned but he wasn't stupid about it and used his brain today, which he wasn't doing over hurdles. I might see what handicap mark he gets now and find another race over fences.
Grey Mountain Mist wins again for Sheehy
He needs anything with 'good' in it (going description) and I've been waiting since his Tramore run for the right ground. I'll try and find another handicap before the rain arrives and he can also go back over hurdles.

Vengeful wins battle of Gigginstown pair
We deserved that! Jack showed how good he is again for 18 and he'll be something else once he gets another couple of years experience underneath him. We're lucky to have two men like himself and Russell. He's a nice horse, wants a bit further and will be ok.

Fairymount Boy follows up for Hourigan
I kind of always knew it, but we've found the key to him now by leaving it as late as possible with him. Things weren't going to plan with him and I must mention the kissing spines that he had. He ran really well once here and I thought he was a certainty the next day under Jack Kennedy but didn't run so well. Donnacha Houlihan found a problem with kissing spines and the operation has made a big difference to him. It was the last thing I thought would be wrong with him as he had always been a good jumper and good mover. Pat Hayes and his nephew Kevin White, who helps me in the yard, own him and I'm delighted for them. I'm nearly entitled to come back here in two weeks time for another 0-95 handicap as I can't imagine the handicapper will push me outside the mark.
Antimatter scores for Duggan & McCurtin
He had been knocking on the door and was going up in the handicap all the time and went up 6lbs without a win from his last three runs. He does it well and keeps galloping and wants nice ground. I'm not sure if he'll go over fences now or not but we'll see what the owner (Edward McHugh) wants and what the handicapper does with him. That's my second winner after Athloman Cottage won at Tramore in August.
Holding Pattern impresses for Harringtons
Her owners had to be patient with her and they also bred her. She went to the Sales as a yearling and came back so it's been a long wait for them. She's out of a Kayf Tara mare so there's a good bit of staying there and she did it very nicely. She had run in a schooling race in the spring but we could never get her right. She was right today!. It would be nice to go the black-type route but we'll take it step by step.
