Well-backed Law makes the breakthrough
He jumps well and loves the ground, and he wasn't winning out of turn. He jumps well enough to run in a handicap but if the ground stays this soft we'll find a winners of one somewhere. We'll keep the options open but chasing is what I'm really looking forward to with him.

Zak wins again over Christmas at Limerick
He won here last year in a three-mile handicap hurdle. He likes those conditions and in Thurles the last day he probably just hit the front too soon and idled when he got to the front. I wanted to get a lead into it today and it worked out. He loves the ground and he stays and he jumps. He’ll stay chasing and we’ll let him tell us where he stops. This time last year he was second three times (over fences) and was just unlucky to keep running into one. They seemed to go a good gallop early for the conditions and he’d stay all day.
The Ballyboys cleans up again at Limerick
I’m delighted for the boss man (father and owner Liam) as he’s had to be patient with that lad. He’s disappointed a few times and I thought this race might suit him. He loves those conditions as they are not able to quicken away from him and he’ll just stay galloping. Johnny said he probably got there a bit soon but the horse took off and when he done that he had to keep the revs up to keep going. When the other horse came back he put his head down. He’s not ungenuine but the blinkers just get him to focus that bit more. He’ll probably run over fences now around the middle of January, and we’ll keep him going in that ground. We kept him ticking over during the summer because he’s so gross but we’ll give him a small break next summer.
Odds-on Go wins easily
He handled the ground great and a good claimer on board all helps. It looked a fairly weak race but you still have to go and win. He's done it well and I'm very happy with him. He's only a four-year-old so he won't be too busy this season. He looks like he could stay further but there is no need to go any further for the moment.
Cooper & Lavery on the mark with George
It was a tough performance, he loved the ground and he's a pure galloper. He's a half-brother to a very good horse called Lucky William who won the Ryanair (Novice Chase, Grade 1 at the Punchestown Festival in 2012) for me. If he's half as good as him he'll be alright. He's a proper three-mile chaser. I'm pre-training 25 horses for this man (owner Andrew Brooks) and only for him I'd be out of a job - it's as simple as that. He'll probably end up going to Venetia Williams but that's the way it is, and I'm glad to have them.
