Inishbel She was actually second in this race last year and we did plan to come here. She jumps very well and had quite a bit of experience. She kind of deserved that. Bryan (Cooper) said to probably go straight for a chase instead of hurdling, maybe over two and a half miles. She will probably come back here for a chase.

Paddy Buns We only bought him two weeks ago out of a point-to-point and Derek O'Connor recommended him to us. We said we'd tip around here and see what would happen. It's a pity that Liam (son) is not riding him as he dislocated a shoulder at Fontwell last Sunday, and then Evan Daly was to ride him and unfortunately he broke his collarbone on Friday night. Kevin was a good replacement and it was a good ride by him. I don't know where he will go next but he's after winning and paid for himself.

Araukan She keeps going well and she likes it down here. She is not an over big filly but it has just taken her time to develop and mature, and she is only doing that now,. She jumps well and has schooled well over fences too. She just gets a little bit wound up when you go racing with her, and that's why I looked for permission for her to go out of the parade ring early. It just makes it handier on myself, the jockey and everyone else. She is as honest as the day is long and will try her heart out for you. She just gets a bit excited and I'm a bit excited myself today!. These races are absolutely fantastic and there probably should be even more of them for the lesser type horses. Hopefully there is another little race in her and she'll go for a handicap now.

Scotch Quay When a bit of luck comes your way you won't turn it down! Once he landed (after the last) he was flying but what would have happened you don't know. He deserves a little break now as he's had a hard two weeks. It's amazing what a win and a bit of confidence can do. He's taking the races well but we're doing nothing different with him at home. He's turned a corner and we're delighted as he's a real favourite at home. There is a two and a half mile novice handicap here at Easter that we might have a look at. Hopefully he can pick up another one.
