Live Every Day he had a nice run in Tipperary in his first handicap which was promising and Davy Russell did the finishing touches today. Ambrose (McCurtain) was to be riding him but got a fall in Kilbeggan yesterday and couldn't stand today as he got a kick on the backside. My horses were off colour during the winter and we weren't doing much but we seem to be back again. This fellow wants good ground and we'll look for another handicap next.

Ask And Answer He is a big horse, he needed plenty of time and is going the right way which is a help,. We thought he might be a real soft ground horse but Paul had a different opinion and said he'd handle it as long as there was a little give in it during the summer. He is owned by a good man (Eoin Barry) who is a big help to me. Eoin is from Tallow and is based in Boston and we had a horse Beantown together which was beaten a neck at Cheltenham (in 2006). He has two or three horses in training with me and is a big help to me.

Ask David he’d a great run the last day, and my only worry was that he’d never put two good runs together up to this but he’s a stronger horse now. He might progress and he’s always showed plenty of ability. He jumps a fence well and is very sharp. He’s a summer horse and is just lucky with the year that’s in it. He’s lucky to be alive as he got a terrible fall last June in Gowran and broke his nose and a lot of other little injuries. That’s why he missed most of the summer. The horses are running well. They were wrong last year and maybe they are a bit well handicapped now because of it. There was no life there last year but since the turn of the year they have been healthy.
