A Wave Of The Sea It looked like it was going to be a great tussle out to the line between Henry's horse and Cerberus. Unfortunately he fell but seems up okay. I'm delighted that the two horses ran with a lot of credit. Barry took his time, saved all his energy and he came and picked up all the pieces late. It looked like Cerberus was fighting with Aspire Tower out over the last and when he fell he just had a look up and probably saw the stands and everything and stopped in front. Mark said when the other horses came past him he stayed on again but it was just too late.

Aspire Tower I thought he did it really impressively. He went a really good gallop and jumped great. The Grade One back here in February is an obvious race to go for, but we’ll talk to the owners and see what they want to do. He had the profile of one on the Flat that you would like to go hurdling with. I’d imagine good jumping ground would be alright for him as he’s run on faster ground on the Flat.

Magic Sea He won here as a two-year-old on that ground, so I knew that the course and ground were okay for him, but he's just been very frustrating. There have been a few times where I thought he should have won, but it just hasn't happened for whatever reason. I don't think he does too much, to be honest. He's very easy on himself and after the race he'll be bucking and squealing. I'm so pleased it's happened here today at our local track for local owners, and everyone's here. It doesn't matter whether he goes over two or two and a half miles, he'll stay further. He came home well today, once he starts passing horses he loves it.

Poseidon they went a bit hard up front - flat out and they were taking each other on as well. Kevin came back in and said they were flat-out and said he wasn't able to go much faster. He jumps really well and he'll go handicapping now. His form was solid and we could now look for a good handicap hurdle and hope to run him at below 11 stone.

Flaming Moon It was nice that he stepped up on his first run,. Colin said that just in the last half furlong he was tiring, it was very testing. He's a really nice horse and was showing plenty at home. He's been working well with the likes of Warnaq and One Cool Poet. He did what we expected the first day, the draw was the only doubt then, and we were delighted with him. He has plenty of potential. Colin mentioned the Birdcatcher but it might be a bit soon. We'll see how he is but if we don't get another run into him this season it's not the end of the world. Who knows I mightn't have him still if I get him sold with a bit of luck. That's my first two-year-old winner and it's great to get it.
