Whatharm He’s owned by Brendan and Bridy Cooney who have been with me for years, and I won with a half-sister of this horse called Faleena. We were afraid to hold him today as he was very keen the last day and got a bit tired. He’d a better draw, although I’d say he would have won from any draw today. We’ll find something similar for him.

Canford Art she had a very good run at Navan over 5f and I'd say the step up to 6f was a help, she was comfortable there. It was a competitive race last time and I'm very happy with how she did it today.

Snapraeceps she (Snapraeceps) had a lovely run first time out and the race worked out very well. Shane was very happy with her and said she had come forward. She travelled much better today and she's a nice filly, I'd say. With any fillies like that black-type is the thing. Whether we take in a winners race on the way or not we'll see what races are there for her. She's a decent filly and the second (Shannan) was well thought of. She should stay a bit further but I'll stick to a mile with her for the time being as she's not slow.

Laura Bullion She's named after a member of Butch Cassidy's Wild Bunch Gang,. I was a bit disappointed with her a couple of times before. I'm not surprised she won and I thought the trip was a help. We bred her ourselves and she's a full-sister to Union Gap. She's the first one to have won out of the mare so hopefully she can breed a few more winners. She's probably big enough and strong enough to be a jumper as well in time. I'm delighted she won. She seemed to go on that surface quite well and of course yer man in the saddle is a big help. It keeps the owner happy as well!
