Laura Bullion Nothing really went right (at Ballinrobe), she got stopped and blocked and didn't really get out, . She was a little bit unlucky. She got into plenty of trouble today again too but he (Sean Flanagan) said she felt great and jumped a lot better. She did it well. We'll go on and she will probably run in a winners' one and run on the Flat as well. She probably wouldn't want heavy ground but she stays well. Unfortunately her owner is not here - he's from London and he went to Greece on his holidays and got double pneumonia on the plane. He is in bed in Greece for the last two weeks. It will give him a boost.

Clifftop We've been a long time waiting. The horses have been working well but just not firing. They've started to come right in the last few weeks,. It's good for the young chap. Conor (O'Dwyer - his father and trainer of the 8th placer Raise The Tempo) let him off his own one to ride him. He's done everything right and he'll ride winners as he listens. This horse might win another one somewhere and we might go to Listowel with him.

Great Trango That's my biggest win and the plan from 12 months ago was to run in the amateur handicap on Monday and this race on Saturday. Nothing went right on Monday and it was just a disaster and I went home sick. But it was no one's fault and Jamie (Codd) looked after the horse and that's what you get when you get the best; when things go wrong they look after them. There is nobody better off a light weight than Phillip (Enright) and he is a jockey always trying for you. There were no stalls tonight and the plan was to jump off good and handy and Philip was great on him all the way. He is one of the toughest horses in training and I'm very grateful to the owners for buying him. The Donohues have been great and he was bought as a replacement for Lagostovegas and he's not a bad replacement. He was beaten seven and a half lengths on Monday; we lost four lengths coming out of the stalls and he was last for a horse who needs to be prominent. Jamie said to run him again if he gets the ground at the end of the week, and said 'I hate to say it, but he did a lovely bit of work for you during the week!'

Whatharm He’s owned by Brendan and Bridy Cooney who have been with me for years, and I won with a half-sister of this horse called Faleena. We were afraid to hold him today as he was very keen the last day and got a bit tired. He’d a better draw, although I’d say he would have won from any draw today. We’ll find something similar for him.

Canford Art she had a very good run at Navan over 5f and I'd say the step up to 6f was a help, she was comfortable there. It was a competitive race last time and I'm very happy with how she did it today.

Snapraeceps she (Snapraeceps) had a lovely run first time out and the race worked out very well. Shane was very happy with her and said she had come forward. She travelled much better today and she's a nice filly, I'd say. With any fillies like that black-type is the thing. Whether we take in a winners race on the way or not we'll see what races are there for her. She's a decent filly and the second (Shannan) was well thought of. She should stay a bit further but I'll stick to a mile with her for the time being as she's not slow.
