Crafty Hugo It's only his third run for us. We weren't 100 percent sure he'd enjoy the surface but he obviously did and Dylan said he enjoyed it,. He sprinted well from the furlong pole. He said he got a bit of room, gave him a squeeze and he went away with him. We're only finding our way with him, it's only the third run, and we've been running him over different trips. He seemed to stay well there at the mile and that's probably his trip.

Conron e’s a course specialist and loves it here. He won his maiden hurdle here, he’s been second at the Festival and he won on this day last year. He’ll probably go to the November meeting now at Cheltenham at around that trip. He needs a galloping track and couldn’t cope with Listowel (last time).

Razoul I thought he’d run real well but he was 7lb wrong at the weights which I thought was going to be a big ask of him. I didn’t want to claim off him because Donagh Meyler rode him on his last two runs and gets on real well with him. He gave him a brilliant ride. He jumped and travelled all the way today, and I thought bar a mistake he was going to win turning in. He came travelling well and found loads. I had it in my head that he could be a Galway Hurdle horse next year. I thought he was a lot better than he was showing on the track. He got a nice break after his maiden hurdle win and I think we’ll go for one of those big pots off a light weight. He’s a well handicapped horse on the Flat but he’d no interest, and is a different horse with a hurdle in front of him. He loves jumping, and I think he’ll go on any ground. He loved that ease today. I only took out a licence at the back end of last year, and that’s my fourth winner. I have 12 and am happy to do it in a small way. My nephew Ray and myself and my wife Gillian look after them so it’s a family operation.

Metier I told Mr Garvey that he had improved a stone since Down Royal. We gave him a break, he's a big raw horse. He could end up a Cup horse next year, he's so raw and big, he's a fair horse. This is as short as he'd want to go. He might end up going for this year's Irish Cesarewitch. I thought the ground mightn't be soft enough for him today. He'll go on any kind of ground but stamina is his thing. He's a mile-and-a-half, mile-six or maybe two mile horse eventually. He had a mark of 73 today but he won't have that now. It's all about next year with him. He ran here last year and was fourth in a goodish maiden but he was a big clown and didn't know what to do. He's still a bit the same and he said he was idling out in front and waiting for the horses. I think next year with a bit of luck he could be a very very good horse. We could be going for those nice staying races. That's where we are hoping to be.

Moonmeister It was a great performance. The horse was out of sorts all year, I don't know what was wrong with him but he started to come in the last month. Our jockey couldn't have done it better and everything worked out lovely. It's a lovely pot to land and it's a good man involved (Phil Rugg). It's his first horse to get involved with, with me, so it's great. There is no point making any plans, we'll enjoy today.

Razoul That's my first winner so it's mighty to get off the mark. I've been assistant to Ellmarie Holden and to Eoin Doyle but I went out on my own it's great to get off the mark. It's great to get the first one and I'm over the moon. He's actually a good horse, he's so unlucky that he's bumped into one the last three times. I thought today, bar a fall, he looked well ahead of those. I might give him a little break now. I think he could be good enough to run in that good hurdle in Listowel, the Lartigue Hurdle, off a low weight. He'll go on soft ground as well if it came up soft.
