Trossachs he’s an improver but he’d still have a bit to find to be Stakes class. He has a great temperament and loves his racing. Another couple of furlongs would not be a problem to him, and the handicapper will decide where we go next. It has been a good evening for Rory.

Building Bridges He sort of makes it hard work for himself as he travels on and off. He's been like that in all his races. Shane thought four furlongs out that he was never going to get there and then he ends up winning a length-and-a-half. He actually makes it look easy in the end. Basically he probably wants up to a mile-and-six and a good galloping track. I don't think ground is any issue. He might have made it easier for himself today if he hadn't stumbled coming out of the stalls. He got caught very wide on the first bend. He is what he is. He's won his maiden now, thank God, and we'll go from there.

Colenso We got him at the sales in Newmarket last year. I knew the minute that I rode him that he wasn't too bad, so we gave him plenty of time. He won alright in Wexford the last day and I was just hoping that he would step up today. I was a bit worried coming down the hill. Danny (Mullins) said he was a bit flat out coming down the hill but once he hit the rising ground he stayed on well. He is still learning the way.
