Above The City That's great - Patrick's first ride for me and a winner. We hadn't one good enough for him to ride before now!. He said she was green in front. She was a bit upset in the ring too and she hadn't done that before. I think she'll be good when she jumps a hurdle. It'll shorten the drive home - Little Haarth was unlucky earlier in a messy race [fourth in the extended two mile five handicap hurdle].

Minx Tiara she was unlucky the first day in a point-to-point, so they boys (Fastey For Fun Syndicate) said we'll go to the track with her and have a bit of fun. I bought her from a neighbour of mine, Billy Cuddihy, and Double Windsor was bought off him too, so it's all working out. The few horses I have are running well now thank God. It keeps the thing going. She'll probably go for a handicap now or maybe a little novice. Sean said she was still green and she loves an ease in the ground. She was very green the first day over hurdles, she wasn't jumping as good and got detached but stayed on well.

Doyen Bay He won a point-to-point not so long ago in Liscarroll. This is his grade and he'll go for something similar again. He battled away from the last after jumping it a bit slow. At some stage he'll go over fences.

Victoria Bay I only ever rode her over hurdles but always thought she'd be a good mare over a fence. She probably would have come on a lot from her first run (over fences at Cork) and she is a very very good jumper of a fence. I was hoping for three good jumps and I had a fair idea she would deliver them and she did.

Botani She was very good and has improved for the break after her first run. We’ll have a look at winners’ bumpers but I’d be keen to go jumping sooner rather than later in the new season,.
