Black Label He likes good ground and has been running well. He was probably unlucky not to win at Galway,. I don't think he stayed the two-and-a-half the last day when he ran with the choke out. I told Jack to drop in and bide his time. He's different gravy this guy. He's in a different league and is a serious rider. I didn't give him a whole pile of instructions. He went down the paint and bided his time. He's in again on Monday at Roscommon. It's two-and-a-half but I put him in again just in case. We'll have to see what Mr O'Brien says. He'll definitely go to Listowel and eventually, he's a serious horse over a fence, so has a good future hopefully.

Beau Recall She had a bit of a problem after she ran the first day. She ran very green then and pulled a muscle so needed a bit of time off. I always knew she would improve. I had her in a couple of races last weekend but this looked a weaker race on paper. She's very sharp at home. I bought her for the lads at Tattersalls last year and the aim was to win a race and sell her so we'll see what we do now. She'll probably get a high enough rating as it was a good race she ran in the first day.

Rigid Rock That's his eighth win and it's three for me - he's had problems and it's been hard to keep him right but it's great for Sean (Gallagher) who is a great supporter of mine. He was a cheaply bought horse and the little dig in the ground suited him. Unfortunately there was no race for him in the coming days and he's not double-entered. A track like Listowel would suit him and he'll go there in September.
