Master Speaker I think the first day of the season could be out of the question now. I spoke well of the handicapper the last day but I'm not sure if I will be after today,. He won quite easily. I think he's a horse that's going to be very competitive in a good handicap. We can afford to wait now as he's won a few quid and we'll target one of the big handicaps during the summer. We'll see what the handicapper gives him and then decide if we go on the first day of the season or not. People would say this is not as competitive but he's improving. I know he's eight but he's improving and hopefully he's going back up to the mark that he had. I knew he wasn't 100 percent the last day, he was about 80 percent fit, so he's just coming on now. It's been great for him. People told me he was this, that and the other but I wouldn't mind a couple more like him. I was told he had knots in his tendons and he was wrong in the wind and everything else but he's definitely not.

Florista We had her here a couple of weeks ago and she ran well in a schooling race. It was her first time away as she was a big raw two-year-old and I threw her out for the summer,. I had this race in mind when she was brought back in. I'm not surprised but I am surprised by her price. She's a big raw Casamento and she is for sale. Gary Devlin and my wife Hazel own her. She hit the line well and I think she will progress. They went fast and she stayed on well so a mile should suit her.

Master Speaker We bought him in Goffs at the horses in training sale and I just thought that he has loads of ability and we might be able to sweeten him up with our way. I knew he was well handicapped and we've done very little with him. We brought him here last Tuesday for his first piece of work and he worked very well behind Togoville. We said we'd give him a run tonight and see what happens. Robbie gave him a peach of a ride. I think he needs to be held up and come with one run. A fast pace suits. I don't know whether we'll go again here or wait for the first day of the season on the grass, the six furlong race that we've won a few times with Bubbly Bellini. We could come back here though if there is a good pot here. We'll see what the handicapper does to him. I think we'll have a lot of fun with him. Stephen Thorne has set up a new syndicate and we only finished selling the shares last Saturday. They've got a quick return on it. Stephen set up Shamrock Thoroughbreds and Rosenborg Rider is in it as well. He's done a good job. He's an ex Flying Start student and he's my assistant.
