After race at Leopardstown Sun, 3rd Mar, 2013 (1st) Savello used to be very difficult and very free but the hood has helped a lot. I've always liked the way he jumped from day one though and touch wood things are coming right today. He has copped on and has grown up a lot having been was very stupid last year. I'd say that is his ideal distance (2m1f) but he could step up half a mile - I thought he was a handicapper in amongst novices today. A J Martin
After race at Fairyhouse Wed, 16th Nov, 2011 (1st) Savello will probably be left off now until the new year and he'll come back around March. He is a stone better on better ground, is only a five year old but will make a good chaser. We won't go over fences until next season though. J A Berry
After race at Wexford Sun, 30th Oct, 2011 (1st) I thought the ground was gone for him as he is a good ground merchant. He's a good horse, will make a good chaser in time but is only five and I don't know whether to keep him on the go now or let him off until Christmas. J A Berry
