FormscanBy Alan Magee - The Gigginstown-owned pair Arvico Bleu and Dis Donc both have plenty of experience over fences and obvious claims on form. The latter was denied close home by Star Max on his penultimate start at Fairyhouse, while Arvico Bleu was filling the runner-up spot for the fifth time over fences when touched off by Gold Des Bois at Ballinrobe last month. However, both are frustrating to follow and perhaps DRUID’S ALTAR may prove a better alternative. The four-year-old is already the pick of these over hurdles having won at Punchestown and Naas, and he was highly tried this spring at the Cheltenham and Punchestown Festivals. He receives a big chunk of weight from the aforementioned pair with Shane Fitzgerald also good value for his 7lb claim.
