FormscanBy Tom Weekes - WORDSWORTH meets two rivals on worse terms than on a recent meeting and while a little disappointing in the Queen Alexandra Stakes last week, is fairly consistent in these staying races. He beat both Master Of Reality (by 2.75 lengths) and Camorra (by 5.25 lengths) over 1m4f here in May and while respectively 3lb and 5lb worse off, can hold them off over today's longer distance. Master Of Reality, fourth in the 2019 Melbourne Cup and runner-up in this race in 2020, is now a seven year old but retains some of his old ability while Camorra won at Group 3 level last September. Gear Up was a French Group 1 mile winning juvenile and while he stays well, also managed a win over 1m1f at Gowran recently and is ground-versatile. Manu Et Corde was runner-up in the Beresford Stakes last September and while he ran well in the recent Ulster Derby, needs to improve. Sunchart, in a tongue-tie and Sussex also need to improve while Temple Of Artemis steps up from his Chester handicap win.
