He was obviously one of the best four-year-olds around last season and he probably didn’t get a chance to fully show how good he is as we never went past two miles with him and he never really got proper soft ground. He’s schooled very well over fences and, while the JLT is a long way down the line, he wouldn’t be too far off running in something like that if he can translate his hurdling form to fences.”
