He showed some smart form in juvenile hurdles last season, and was placed twice at Grade 3 level. He only had three runs as a two-year-old on the Flat and given the level he showed over timber there is every chance he has improved markedly since those days. Archibald Thorburn is an interesting rival. He won a charity race at Punchestown back in April and while the form of those events isn't the most reliable it was still an encouraging effort from a horse that was rated in the mid-70s at one point in England. Ana Lichious has won her last two over in Scotland and has to be given utmost respect. She got 6lb for her win at Ayr 13 days ago but talented apprentice Ben Coen takes a 7lb off her back now.
