FormscanBy Tom Weekes - ONTHEIFLIST is a somewhat speculative pick given his most recent form is poor but strikes as a potentially nicely handicapped horse over hurdles. He has been lightly raced in recent times but that may have been partly due to his requirement for soft ground. His two most recent flat handicap runs on testing ground were very disappointing but he reverts to hurdles today following a mini-break and it is somewhat notable connections have booked the same rider who steered him to his four earlier hurdle runs, with his initial 104 rating looking potentially maneagable. Magic Sea won easily by 15L at Down Royal on St Stephen's Day and has obvious claims despite being hiked 10lbs for the win. His form can be hit-and-miss but he goes well on testing ground and is clearly in excellent health at present. Saol Iontach hasn't shown an awful lot in three hurdle runs but nonetheless has beaten plenty horses in her big-field maiden hurdle runs and could go well in handicaps.
An extended handicap hurdle for four years old and upwards rated 80-109 Penalties - Winner of a hurdle race after calculation of the handicap shall carry 5lb extra for each hurdle race won.
