The Bill Treacy trained six-year-old appears to relish quick ground, with her best efforts coming on good to firm. She came in plenty of market support when a close-up fourth at Clonmel in October, with Markhan, who was successful in the US at the weekend, just half a length ahead of her in third. A reproduction of that effort should see the Scorpion bay go close. Denis Hogan's Muyam Spirit has been disappointing to date, but he is a half-brother to Kitten Rock, and a much improved performance can be expected from him in a contest of this quality. Amor Verdadero was fourth on debut for Gordon Elliott at Downpatrick a week ago, and he is sure to have plenty of supporters with Davy Russell aboard, while Moyode Lady, who made late progress here on her last start, is another to consider.
